Do I Need Wefts With 360 Band Lace Frontals?

People who prefer lace frontals and wefts over full lace wigs and lace front wigs should use 360

band lace frontals. It’s the latest member of the hair extension family. As the product is, it has come up with new and advanced styling options. You can style your hair into a ponytail, which isn’t possible in other hair extensions, without worrying about the exposure of the wefts.

360 band lace frontals are easy to install and quicker to style. The best thing is these frontals give a full natural hairline around the entire circumference of the head. The band isn’t visible and the frontal looks like original hair. The only thing is you will require a few bundles of wefts to complete the look with 360 band lace frontals. You can avoid wefts but it’s about your overall look. So, you should get the wefts.

Ideally, 2 to 3 bundles of wefts are required with 360 band lace frontals to complete the look. But, it’s just an approximate value. This count might not be right for many people. So, instead of following the standard count, you should consider a few factors to determine the weft count. These factors will help you find the right number.

What are the factors to determine the number of wefts with 360 band lace frontals?

The size of your head

It’s funny but one of the major considerations to determine the weft count. People consider it funny because the role of the weft is to add volume, which is determined by the thickness of the frontal and original hair. But, there is a link between the number of wefts and the size of the head.

There is an average size of a woman’s head. Firstly, you should know the average size. It’s because the actual head size is determined based on the average size. If the size is above average, you will need more bundles of wefts and if the head size is less than average, you will need less. You just have to take a measuring tape and wrap it around your head from ear to ear. If the measuring tape fits, this is the size of your head.

The length of the weft to be used

The length of the weft is directly proportional to the number of the weft bundles. The longer the wefts are, the higher the number will be. For example, if the length of the weft is 12 inches, the number of bundles will be 3. And if the length of the weft is 28 inches, the number of bundles will become 4.

This direct proportion is applicable because lengthy wefts thin out towards the tips and short wefts are thick throughout. It means your hair will look fuller even if you use fewer wefts of short length. The look will be complete,

The texture of the hair hair

Lastly, the texture of the hair should be considered. It’s because the wefts have to adjust as per the hair or else, the wefts will be visible and not look good. Also, the texture helps to determine the additional volume required.

If the texture of your hair is curly, you will require fewer bundles because the hair density is naturally fuller. On the other hand, if your hair texture is straight, you will require more bundles to create a full look.

Wefts along with 360 band lace frontals complete the look. So, get the right numbers considering the points discussed in this post.
